Custom Welding and Forming Capabilities for Stainless Steel Tubes
Tube welding and forming depends on the grade and application specifications. At Teshima, we use TIG Welding System, a process ideal for small diameter tube fabrication. Steel sheets enter a welding machine where they are coiled and welded. When the steel sheets enter the machine, they are formed to a coil. These coils are then welded at the seam to form a tube. The welding is done by two high resistivity copper-wheel electrodes. The copper wheels create a molten metal that binds the seam of the coiled metal.

Annealing
Annealing is the process of heating metal above re-crystallization and cooling back to room temperature. When metal is formed to shape, the molecular bonds tighten, making the metal stiff. To restore ductility, the metal is processed through annealing machines. At Teshima International Corp., we specialize in the annealing of stainless steel. With ten annealing machines in our factory, orders are processed quickly and efficiently.
