Stainless Steel Hypodermic Tube Fabrication Capabilites

Hypodermic tubes have medical and industrial applications. Most commonly used as hypodermic needles, hypodermic tubes are also utilized as spacers, guide wires, cannulas, and capillary tubing. Hypodermic tubes are made with stainless steel. Fabrication starts with a strip of stainless steel. The steel is then rolled into tubes, welded, and plug drawn to gauge size. Through these steps of fabrication, these tubes appear seamless and can hold tight tolerance.

Annealing

Annealing is the process of heating metal above re-crystallization and cooling back to room temperature. When metal is formed to shape, the molecular bonds tighten, making the metal stiff.
